The pest of Colorado's Pine Forests
We spray trees to protect them from the MPB. We use *Sevin SL (Carbaryl), and new this year, we are adding Thoroughbred organosilicone surfactant, which is a unique technology advanced adjuvant. The Thoroughbred spreads quickly, providing uniform coverage, increased penetration, decreased wash-off and Ultra Violet (UV) degradation.
Below is the link to the Colorado State University Mountain Pine Beetle Pamphlet. The information that you should know about the MPB, the pest of Colorado’s Pine forests, is explained in this pamphlet. I urge you to take a look.
Sincerely, John Rosenquist
